CS130D Alternator on 4Runner

Ok, the stock alt on my 1996 SR5 4Runner with the V6 is dying. I have a GM CS130D alternator sitting around since I upgraded my S10 Zr2 to the 130A AD244 to power the 1190W of light on my S10. I've read on other Toyota sites that the GM alternators will fit with a couple washers to use as bushings. Also the GM alt is 3 pin and the Toyota is 4 pin. Plus the CS130D has a different pulley than the Toyota Alt. Would it be possible to use the pulley from the Toyota Alt on the GM alt?

Has anyone on here done this upgrade? Does anyone know what I should do to get the wiring and belts to work? I search but couldn't find anything.

Thanks a bunch guys!

Mitch

If you don't get and answer here, try over at ih8mud.com they seem to do a lot more custom fit type stuff than the guys over here. Not to say this forum isn't capable of handling this question...someone might know. Just saying that you might getter a better response over there.
