Cup Holders for the 1st gen?

My friend's 89 first gen has it also.

Thanks for the info. The 86 I used for mock up of a different cup holder did not have that console. That leaves 2 questions. Did the 87 have this console? Were there other console options on the 87-89 or was this the only option?

Does anyone know what years the console below was offered. After asking around I'm even more confused. it doesn't appear to be the "standard" console for any years but was an option (for some crappy reason) for a couple years. Anyways, I'm not sure how important it is to know the exact years it was offered. I got a batch of these cup holders done and are now up on my site and on etsy. Here's the links:

Also, this isn't a cup holder BUT I have been getting a ton of requests to make the B-Pillar badge. The final badge will be made of aluminum. The pictured below is just a rough mock up prototype I 3D printed to make sure I had fitment dialed in. I will show you guys the final metal version in about a week.

So I finally got the first batch of the side badges done. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. Fitment is spot on. I only had the time to run a couple through the spray booth. The rest of the batch will get sprayed tomorrow and will be ready to ship out soon. I just need to get some pics of them installed on our 1st gen for the website. Here's how they look.

So the B-Pillar badges have now been out for a while and have sold well. The international crowd got wind of these and has been bugging me for the last few months to create the Hilux Surf b-pillar badges. I finally had some free time today and created the CAD file. My machinist will be cutting the prototype on Monday. Here is what it looks like. Not sure if there is much international Surf crowd on this forum but I figured I woud at least share what I'm working on.

Looks like it's time for another Black Friday update. Being Black Friday I'm getting flooded with emails asking if we are running "Black Friday Specials". Unfortunately we are not running a black Friday specific promo BUT our forum discount of 15% is still in effect until the 1st of January. Coupon code "TEQ15". We have done everything in our power to fight inflation within our business and get as creative as possible to not have to increase prices and so far we have not done that. Just saw this question. I'm not on here too often so I apologize for the delay. If you are asking about our cup holders, then there is no need to modify anything on your console for any of our cup holders to fit. You just have to make sure you order the correct cup holder. The 1st Gen got quite a few different console options and no all of our cup holders work on all options. Some consoles can accept 2-3 of our designs while other consoles might only be able to accept one design so look closely at your console and the product pics on our website and be SURE they match.

It's Black Friday again and I forgot to post info on this forum ahead of time like I did last year. Oops. Got into the shop this morning to a pile of emails asking about Black Friday deals. This year is a bit unique for us. For the first time in over a dozen years we were able to lower our prices across all products in the 5%-12% range. We have finally got to a point in size where we can buy in large bulk our raw materials we use for manufacturing which allowed us this year to lower prices a bit. Got the same question over and over this weekend so I thought I would address it here. I was asked if our updated prices, promos, and coupons are only for the Black Friday weekend. The simple answer is No. We will be running all of our holiday promos and coupons through 12/20 of this year. So the discounts are good for another 2.5 weeks. Our new reduced pricing on most items will hopefully stay for a while.

Recently got some requests to make the single cup holder (for the manual tranny shifter bezel) have a larger phone slot. Phones keep getting larger. I had some time finally to sit down and redesign the phone slot. It's now 1/2" wider front to back and 1/8" wider side to side which allows for the largest phone I could find with a thick case to still be able to fit in it.
