cup holders

I have the same problem. I have to put my coffey mug in the back seat on the way to work in the morning. The cup holders in the back work perfect. The only thing the 4runner beats for cup holder is my last car (porsche carrera) it had no cup holders. But the arms on these things are useless, you would think they would come up with something in the last 5 years.....

well at least you have cup holders. my 1st gen doesnt. i just open the center console and shove it between a cd case.

I use a regular sized wash cloth, folded in half and straddling the center of the cup holder. No more problems, plus if the soda/coffee spills, the washcloth absorbs the mess (and if it spills on the way up to the mouth, there's a convenient rag available)
