hence why I bought new, don't normally do that but it just made sense with the TRD PRO. The dealer I got my new one from had used 2015 for like 41,000 and msrp on my was like $42,400(made it a no brainer to buy new).

Yea, that is crazy good. If the Trails are in the same ballpark, I'll definitely consider utilizing my employee discount more frequently.

I want to thank the OP for starting this thread and confirming that TRDP's are worth more than a normal TEP, I love the TEP's, but a limited edition 4R or FJC pull stupid money even if it shouldn't....

LOL, this made my night!

The high resale on the TRDP benefits all 4runner owners as it will make the other more obtainable models more valuable. We all buy our vehicles for function and having a high resale, SHOULD someone decide to sell is a plus! I think this is the only time and the only vehicle that I've seen people upset about a high resale value. Regardless of the trim, we are lucky to have a vehicle that holds it's value so well.

Resale is always a consideration of mine when buying new/like-new. I've never bought a vehicle with the plan of selling it in 2 years but unforeseen things happen and it's nice to not have to pay a few thousand just to get out of a vehicle, especially if you don't have the money to do it...
