Hey guys I am doing a complete audio replacement and didn't wanna waste my time with a high end sub In the factory enclosure as its far too small and limits your choice of drivers...I want nice full sound and plenty of bass and to expand sub options, however I dont want to impede on cargo space so i am building a box for the factory location. I didnt wanna hassle with fiberglass though I have alot of experience with it so mdf it is...I am wanting to maintain a stealth super appearance as far ass not having a big box just laying on the floor behind the seats..
Now onto my question..who if anyone would be interested in a simple template for building your own? It is a layered style box, all you'd need is this template a router with flush trim bit, mdf and glue, finish nail gun ect..
1.would you be interested at all?
What would you pay for one it? will be cnc plasma cut 3/16" aluminum
Here are some pics of what it gets you when finished..the final picture has a one peice beauty panel that goes over the enclosure to fit nicely along the seems of the factory interior panels, it attaches with double sided tape and can be removed to access the enclosure itself for removal. These pics net you .88cu/ft sealed and and a 6" mounting depth and that is a 10" sub..depending how many layers you stack together you can get up to about
1.25 cu/ft and can do ported if so desired.
