how close are the wings to the body? any rubbing while flexing?

Thanks a ton! They're about an inch and a half away. It's reinforced to the bumper so it won't really flex. Got that idea from the trail gear bumper for this gen. I'm definitely not a professional welder though. This was my first big welding project. Got better as I went along. A lot of fun putting this together.

I just started with the bar that goes across the back and built from there. I had to change my design halfway through because I wanted to include the tire carrier. From there it was build as I went along. I took things from other designs that I've seen that I liked and tweaked them a little to what I wanted. It took longer than expected because of all the changes but it finally got finished. All that's left is to wire the license plate light and it's done.

Very cool. I wish we had a mandrel bender at the shop and I knew how to use one properly lol. Nice design skills!
