Custom seat brackets

My interior was beat and I wanted to put some new seats in my 4Runner. I ordered some brackets online and they don't fit. Anyone know where to get some brackets that will bolt in with the current pattern? I don't want to drill more holes if I don't have to.

bring it to a machine shop and have them make you some brackets. i make my own with just a welder and a drill press.

Thanks for the great idea! Here's how they turned out.

For those of you looking for a detailed DIY write up sorry to disappoint:

1. Find nice unused seats for a great deal
2. Buy universal brackets online
3. Return brackets after discovering that your idea of "universal" and theirs were very different
4. Call up local machine shop ( I used GetBentAZ they were great!)
They made custom brackets that fit the original holes in the floor for less than the crappy ones I got online. I love the new seats, they slide and fold flat so it is easier to get in the back. They are a huge upgrade over the beat up Civic seats that were in it when I bought it.

The guy I bought the seats from sad they were supposed to go in the VW Toureg but I can't tell for sure. My main goal was to find seats that would slide and fold flat so it would be easier to get in and out of the back.

I will try to take a couple pictures of the brackets and post them soon.

man that is a great idea i wonder if rear bucket seats from a caravan would work the same they fold flat and tilt.
im going to look into this some more and maybe make a bunch of bolt in brackets
