x2 Burtman should have put these up for sale when he actually had them done and in stock. I'm a pretty patient person when I buy stuff but this wait has been ridiculous, especially for the price.

He definitely shouldn't have actually charged you full price for the item until it shipped. If a retainer fee is needed to float the cost of manufacturing, that's one thing, but charging full price to begin with for an order that's taking 2 months to complete is bad business, in my opinion. Good luck with your orders.

i completely agree. i even asked if these were in stock before i paid and he said they should be. but then after waiting the first 2 weeks he said they were in production. i am actually in the same type of business, sales and marketing for a very Well known company in the automotive aero performance industry APR Performance and from a business standpoint this is total bad business etiquette.

i Just talked to Jason today and he sent me some pics of the rear door sills so i am hoping they will be sent out soon to everyone that ordered. im getting pretty excited now.

jason has an awesome little business, and he offers a lot of products that you cant truly find anywhere else for our rigs. where yes, i dont thing that the option should have been available to buy these until they were available, at the same time he is putting in a lot of work to get these done.

I don't know why but I didn't get any email notifications from this post being updated. Argh.
Yes, I just got the sample late last week of the finished product. I'll give a little background behind the scenes... I had to pay up front for "40" sets of sills to get these made. These were custom made for me, and 40 sets was the minimum. I still put a HUGE chunk of change out to get these done -- haven't sold anywhere near 40, but hope to overtime. I appologize for the delay. I was told these would be done over a month ago!!! and they kept delaying and delaying production. I'm not making them myself, but if I was, they would have been done by now.
Now for the good news. The "finished sample" looks great, and I'm told they will be done this week. I had a very serious and lengthy coversation with the production manager and even showed him this thread. I would never put my reputation on the line and not deliver. I'm happy to say these will finally be shipping soon.
