So I got a free 4runner with 255,000 miles and after a few months of sitting around i got ambitious and decided i wanted a topless vehicle... here is a small thread of what a couple ideas, enough knowledge to be dangerous, and some supportive friends who enjoy destruction/fun as much as I..... suggestions welcome. Still haven't welded the final crossmember on the makeshift cage, still haven't done the audio, no paint yet, havent cleaned up the sharp edges that the saw zaw left behind haha

ALSO ON A SIDE NOT!! I have all the doors, and the rear hatch still in my garage, all in VERY good shape. All electrical still worked on all of them when we took everything off. The REAR HATCH has a palm size dent in it. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOURE INTERESTED IN THE DOOR! Ill sell them for cheap!

Thanks again for looking, hope you think my Captiva Island Cruiser is kinda cool!

I like it, but please tell me you're going to put more work into that cage. It needs a lot more than a final crossmember.

it is never going off road to the cage was basically for looks n people to sit on as bad as that sounds ha. The last cross member will just be to hook up wakeboard boat style speakers to for maximum island jamming abilities.

If I do end up rolling this, thats natural selection working at its finest.
