CV boot help

Leaking oil so I removed skid plates today to see what I could find. During my search found my inner boot on passanger side is almost ripped through. Is there anything I can fill in the weak spot to prolong life before it starts leaking? Thanks in advance.

You can't stop the inevitable. Sooner or later you'll have to reboot. You could try super glue or silicone etc... but I don't think it will make a difference.

as he stated above you going to have to replace that boot. The boot looks old n cracked all around. It really not hard to replace the cvs, and rebooting isnt bad just messy as hell.

Well do you guys recommend rebooting or just replacing the axles? I just added a 3 inch lift and my CV axles are at a pretty stretched angle. I have a high speed vibration and its been thrown out there that the angle could be a possibility for the vibration.

Even if I replace them I don't imagine it will help the angle?

If the axles are fine there's no need to replace them, and if the truck is lifted so high that it's wearing out the CV axles I'd do something about that before replacing a CV shaft or you're just going to trash the new one too. Maybe if you get the CV angles corrected you could repair that boot with some silicon tape or something, but as it sits there's no point in repairing or rebooting or replacing, it'll just happen again.
