No, the slider would still be mostly secured by the frame, but in some situations the slider might contact the body. this would be if the truck is flexed out and starts twisting the frame a bit, also if the truck is resting on the slider only. honestly it wouldnt be a common occurence, just something to think about. also the only real situation where a lot of force would move the slider would be a hard impact or lifting the truck by the slider.

Well they should be done by tomorrow night, me and a few buddies are doing some night wheeling at a place called rocker panel pass, and i know of a couple spots where i might need them.

meanwhile today i might go pick up a 4wd tercel in flagstaff, it would make a pretty good daily driver and save me a boat load on gas even considering the insurance.

Hey how did you do the tapered body lift and what's the difference between that and a normal body lift

The only way that it would be putting too much force would be if the slider disconnected from the frame. im also using big ass 1/2" gussets so i doubt there will be much flex on them.

Also I took the liberty of making this gif tonight when I moved the front end down a couple of perches and installed new rubber isolators. I removed the spring and used only the shock. I measured 11.25" of travel with room to spare for a larger tire if I wanted to haha.

As i mentioned before im always working on the grille, my latest mod is to get rid of the oval toyota symbol, and continue the profile of the grille all the way across, and then of course color match it. if it looks good i might even stick the old block letter style toyota emblem on it. I 3d printed the piece that covers up the old oval and continues the contour of the grill. I think it will probably look best without the toyota block letters but we will see.

Made the ultimate stock length upper control arms with ballistic rod ends and unlimited up and down travel.

next day, just driving to work and some dude lost control of his car, hit my side at a 45 degree angle. truck turned, then rolled, the windows broke on my side, hand flew out the window, half my hand gone etc.

looking at the truck at co part. my suspension parts all survived, but the stock things broke. rack exploded, lower ball joint bolts sheared and the arm coming off the lower ball joint broke. lower ball joints were actually fine. my panhard axle mount extension broke.
