Dallas: Bridgeport trip on Saturday (2/8)?

anyone interested in going to Bridgeport (45 minutes west of Denton) on Saturday?

I figure we could meet around 10:30 or 11 in Bridgeport and wheel during the day. My 4Runner is basically stock, so I won't be doing anything difficult with it.

Yes I've been there. I do not have a CB. My OHV sticker is expired, but I will pick one up this week.

I have not yet been to Bridgeport's Northwest OHV park, do not have the annual sticker, nor have I yet installed my CB... but I would still like to go finally check it out

There are a lot of different types of trails there. Plenty fine for a stock 3rd gen 4Runner.

Interesting topic and I like to join.. but it is too far for me (290 miles one way) for a 1 day trip.
Can we try Gilmer? We can camp with or without renting a cabin. What do you guys think?

I drove my truck (stock) in DV and saw how capable that it. So don't under estimate the 4runner!

I saw a CB radio for $28 or so at my local Walmart... I bought the same thing (in a hurry) for $55 at Burbank CA!

I would consider Gilmer if it works better for everyone. Kind of a long drive for me, though. And I can't camp - I have Sunday plans in Dallas.

I haven't been to Gilmer in years (at least a decade, haha), but I remember it being a lot muddier than Bridgeport.

When is the next Bridgeport trip? Now that I'm lifted I'm ready to hit the trails. I'm wanting to go before long just a few things to do like extended diff breather so I can play in the water. Anyone in the Fort Worth Area?
