Damaged 94 t4r door

My front passenger door got screwed up this week. I was opening the door when a strong wind came up and ripped the handle from my hands. The regulator part (strap thing that runs from the jamb to the inner door) snapped in half and I think the top hinge is damaged. Is the bracket on the body welded onto there? I can see two bolts at the back of it and what I think is a bead of weld (or some kind of sealant?) towards the front of the hinge bracket. I am assuming to repair the regulator strap the door has to be taken apart, but how do I fix that hinge area? I need to know if it is welded on to the pillar or if its just a bolt on replace type of job. I'm reluctant to take the time to pull it apart before I know what type of parts/work I might need. Even though I'd fit in with many others in Montana, I don't really want to drive without a door :)

Awesome. I was worried they were welded. I started poking at them with a screwdriver and it was really hard, almost felt like metal. Know anywhere where I can get them for a reasonable price? Checked a couple of my usual sites with no luck. Scrapyard won't sell me one unless I buy the whole door.

Junkyard would have been my guess. Possibly find some one who is parting one out on CL.

Edit: I just googled 94 4runner door hinge and a bunch of stuff came up. including this:

Not sure of that year split..they should all be the same.

Also, a company called 4xinnovations makes a set of hinges designed to remove the doors quickly for offroading.

Yeah, I saw those but they all say up to 1991. They look very similar, but I am reluctant to spend before I know for sure. I might give one of the companies a call and ask. Thanks thought for the suggestions. The quick-releases would be cool, but not necessary as she is not an offroader.
