dang. blew a head gasket Helppp!!

Pretty sure I blew a head gasket started the truck this morning it ran rough and smoked alot. Turned the truck off checked oil looked milky and runny... antifreeze coming out of exhaust. Head gasket??? Anyone tried blue devil? I need this puppy up and running by Monday morning please help

Checked the oil? Or transmission fluid? You may have what people describe as pink milkshake.
I haven't heard of people blowing a head gasket on startup, only while having the engine temp shoot up without noticing because of other reasons.
What part of florida are you in? I may be able to help you out.

Doesn't matter what you try to do to it. The only was to fix a BHG is to replace the BHG. No additives or any of that bull crap you can buy in the parts stores will help you.

There is no quick fix to a blown head gasket.

Assuming it let go when you started it up, the good news is perhaps all you have to do is change the gasket with no fooling around with warped or cracked heads.
Happened to me with a little Corolla a '92.. not sure the engine model but it popped a HG and a teardown, put the new gasket , retorqued the head back on and the little engine run on until the body fell off

More bad news I put blew devil in it and no fix I had a mechanic buddy of mine come look he said he thinks a head cracked and said a shop would charge around 1200 not sure what to do cuz like I said I got to be at work on Monday I might have to let her go

Just get a rental car for the time being! Don't let your 4Runner go because of a cracked head!!

Although....What part of FL are you in, and what are the specs on the 4Runner? How much would you be selling it for..

You are going to take a beating trying to sell with an engine that won't run !
Buy yourself a 1000 dollar beater and pound it until you get your runner back running. Then sell the beater for ...well.... 1000.00...

Specs are 97 2wd 3.4 drove good and shift good I drove it 86 miles a day for the past 2 months over 80 mph trust me I love this truck but got to do what I need to get my $

BUT I agree with others, you could get a $800-$1000 Civic or something, and just use that until this is fixed. I have a '97 Civic with 211,000 that I drive on long commutes / when MPG's are a factor, and then use the 4Runner for everything else. I know a rental car is ~$80/day, so they add up pretty fast (even though you're not old enough for one). I'd fix the 4Runner, man, these things aren't worth nearly as much when they have a major repairable issue like that.

How are you sure that the head is cracked? EVEN if it is - you can get one off of RockAuto for ~$500. Not THAT bad, if the car will give you many years of reliable service afterwards. My GF just had to drop $1,500 to put a reman transmission in her Accord, although it has given her 285,000 without grief, so I'd say that's just a drop in the bucket.

I'm not sure on the cracked head I know that there is water halfway up the dipstick. Leaking a good amount out of exhaust if you take the cap off valve cover it will drip water off cap. Idk what the issue is for certain though and smoking like a train

Are your mechanically inclined?
You could do the head gaskets in a day easy. Been there done that.
The heads on these are very tough, either way gaskets are not to expensive.

Pop the heads off, see if it's the gasket. Take it from there.

I am mechanically inclined I just don't have access to the tools I used to because I moved out of the parents house. Nor do I have much money because of the same reason lol
