Headliner pulled and sunroof assembly removed and replaced last weekend. Everything works great. Glad to have working sunroof in this truck.

Pulling headliner really wasn't as bad as I thought. Biggest tip is just go slow and keep a track of all screws. Don't have to remove as much as you think. Once you get certain trim panels loose you can leave them and "slide" the headliner out. Like a and b pillars (don't need to remove front seat belts for example).

Rockford Fosgate P300-12 powered subwoofer installed at same time since interior was stripped.

Great "bang" for your buck. Super easy install with aftermarket head unit. Sounds awesome with stock system.

Sweet. I'm glad the sensor worked for you. I've got through and replaced tons of stuff trying to get more than 100 on half a tank, with no success. I gave up about a year ago.

Hey, sorry I didn't see this earlier. I replaced the Upstream Air/Fuel Ratio sensor. I have the 2000+ Cali spec exhaust (2 cats) so I have an Upstream Air/Fuel and a Downstream sensor.

Lift and ARB

She's come a long way since the early days of this thread...

Friend and I installed the 2in Bilstein/Tundra/OME lift this past week along with the ARB front bumper:

• Tundra TRD Front Coils P/N 48131-AF100 Yellow/Yellow and 48131-AF090 Yellow/Blue - Camelback Toyota
• Tundra Front Coil Isolator MONROE P/N 907926 - Amazon
• Old Man Emu 906 Rear Springs - Amazon
• Bilstein 5100 Front Shocks P/N 24-261425 (From a TRD Tundra) - Amazon
• Bilstein 5100 Rear Shocks P/N 24-100144 (From a TRD Tundra and sourced from Wheeler's OffRoad with the 4runner bushings pre-pressed)

Net of around 2 inches all around. Very tasteful, while practical. CV angle is still acceptable and no panhard modifications were done. Only issue is I now notice a clunk in the front that wasn't there before...I think it is the steering rack bushings going out, but not sure. Still trying to figure it out. Ride and handling is not affected, just annoying.

ARB front bumper installed the same day. Looks fantastic, though the install sucks since it is technically for the taco. Only thing I couldn't figure out was how to mount the license plate. Regardless, the look is timeless and I've already gotten compliments. Highly recommend.

Thanks! And yeah she was a great car (sold a couple months ago). Picked up a motorcycle to replace her so been having fun getting into that. Lot cheaper.

Haven't posted in awhile aside from updating the maintenance first page. But she's been doing great. Put 5,000+ miles on in the last month or so. Hauled a trailer of furniture up to New Hampshire and back and then visited family in Florida for the Holidays. Zero issues and 21ish mpg.

Broke in my friend's new to him 1st gen Taco yesterday at Flagpole. First time on the trails with the new suspension. Felt a million times better than stock.

Love the progress so far. I am planning a similar "rescue" on an 02 Black SR5 I bought last month. My truck has a lot of good service history in its 212K miles, but needs a good detailing to shine the paint up again and some other "clean up" things such as carpet cleaning and chrome bumper replacement/painting.

Did I mention these center caps are annoying? Mine look just like yours for the most part, but my rims are the Toyota 5 star found on 01-02 models.

New shoes for Bae went on today. TRD Pro graphite w/ Falken AT3W 265/70/17. Very happy. Looks like a new truck. Now to get her dirty or have a detail day??

WOW. I haven't updated in a loooooooong time.

First off, that list is done. Truck is sitting pretty.



Not much else I can really think of. Maybe a roof rack and light bar...snorkel. :juggle: But the clutch is starting to act up at 187k (doesn't owe me anything) so that's taking priority.

As for the E46...ended up selling it Summer 2017. But, couldn't resist the 4runner / BMW combo so flew down to Texas last October and drove this back (2011 E92 M3 6MT):



I do miss the E46 sometimes, but the newer tech, complete lack of rust and the V8 make this a fun replacement.
