Dare I ask, 20's on a TE

Before the flaming begins, here's the issue.
- Had a F150 (giant pile of regret) that I threw BMF Novakane 20x9's with Nitto TG G2's on. Hated it and took it back to stock before trading in on another beloved 4RT.
- Selling the wheels and I can handle the hit, but im gonna lose my a$$ on selling the tires outright.

Ordered a set of 18x9 XD Enduro Pro's but after putting them next to the vehicle i'm not convinced they're gonna work with that gunmetal grey against the silver of my 4R.

So the smart thing is to keep the tires and just throw a set of 20's on it. considering the 20x9 Fuel Savage wheels w/ the 275/55/20 G2's that i already have. Any trail activity I do will be minimal at best, the occasional trip to north GA or something.

So please dont beat me up on this too much, just looking for any considerations with moving up to a 20x9 wheel. Cheers

i mean there are a few ppl out there running 20" limited rims on some pretty badass trail rigs.

check out [MENTION=106242]Miguelon[/MENTION]. He runs the stock limited rims, with some badass tires, and his rig is well used on the trails, check out his album pics, IIRC there are some awesome pics of his rig in there and scattered around this forum.

but on another note i *think* that the stock limited rims/wheels are not 9" wide, and im not a rim/wheel expert, im just letting you know what i have seen around on here.

yeah the stock 20's are 7" wide so i'm bumping it up a notch. I'll check around more links though. Thanks!

@ the OP- I agree, do whatever you like- but - don't do it because it "makes the most sense". Mods, in general, don't always make sense!

Do what you really want to do if you can afford it, IMO.

Why limit yourself to only one set of wheels and tires? Fat skis for powder, shorter skis for bumps, soft skis for terrain parks, all mountain for ice.
