Dash bulb replacement

Hello,
I have a 1995 4runner and all the light bulbs four the HVAC controls seem to be burnt out. Can someone tell me how to take apart the dash to replace these?

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin, this is a pretty easy (and cheap) fix. Pull the knobs off the controls then carefully take the plastic panel off. You might have to get a small flathead screwdriver under the panel to get it to pop out, it has very small clip-like hooks on each end. Don't do this if the truck is very cold, you might break the plastic when trying to pop it out. Once the black cover is off, there's a clear plastic piece covering the single light bulb. It has a little handle on it, grab it and pull it out (I think this has a hook on one end, so you might have to et it out in the same manner you took of the black cover). Now you can see the very small light bulb, if it's original it has a green rubber cover over it. Pull it straight out of it's socket, go to the auto parts store and buy one (or two), it'll cost $3-5. Reinstall a new bulb, replace the clear cover, replace the black panel cover, replace the knobs on the levers, and you're good to go : )
