Dash covers, anyone install one?

I've been searching for a 4th gen 4runner for a while. One that I passed on, because of the dash cracking, just had a price drop. I'm thinking about looking at it again. The only problem is the dash replacement warranty has expired, so the dash is still a problem. It's at the price where I could probably live with it, but I was looking at alternatives to replacing the whole dash.

Has anyone use the Coverlay dash cover in there t4r? It looks like it could be an inexpensive fix and doesn't look too bad. At least better than a cracked falling apart dash.

thats new to me when did it expire? I sell cars and got one warrantied about 2 months ago. That being said.
I put a Coverlay dash kit on my step mothers 4th gen and it came out great. It took some trimming in spots and taping down the corners(while the glue dried) but over all came out great.

The dash "Warranty Enhancement Program" expired on May 31th 2017, if you got an inspection before that date and it's was accepted under the program for replacement you still will get the replacement dash when it comes in.

Good to know it came out good. I watched a quick video and it looked like something that would be easy to install and turn out OK.

I might also reach out to Toyota, but I don't think they will do anything.
