Dash Lights do not work

Long story short, I replaced all bulbs with Neo3 or 4 throughout the car in the dash area I could easily do with a screwdriver. I did not touch the main speedo area etc.

During the install I kept checking to make sure the bulbs would light up which they were then eventually they just stopped working all together but the dome lights still work..

What is strange is that the orange point LED's light up but no other illumination will occur on the buttons or the LCD screen.

I took the LEDs out and replaced with the factory bulbs and checked all fuses and still nothing except the point LEDs any ideas???

You may have blown the the dimmer switch. Had a similar thing happen when I first installed my headunit.

Yikes that bad boy has a nice price tag on it to replace too

Not sure how I would have even blown that

Yeah mine happened when I accidently shorted out a wire behind the headunit. I just opted to bypass it by jumping a few pins on the back. I no longer have control to dim the lights, but at least everything is lit up.

how did you bypass it ? If i don't have to buy a new one that would be nice! I don't need it to be dimmable just need it to work lol

Yeah, you have to jump three pins together. I used a small piece of a paper clip bent into a couple U shapes and inserted it into the front side of the pins.
