Dash lights wont work!!!

i recently bought a 95 toyota 4runner and the dash lights dont work so i took it in and they said its the dimmer switch so i bought a new dimmer switch and they still dont work? what can be the problem?

Anyway, since you have a 1995, yours is older than ours, as this is a 1996-2002 forum.

If that happened to our generation, I would suggest checking for a fuse labeled TAIL. That controls the dash lights and running lights on the 3rd generation 4Runner.

I am unsure whether this procedure is the same for yours. I have a 1992 that I will go and check the fusebox on. I will edit the post if I find another solution.

YO CHECK YOUR FUSES UNDER THE DASH!!!!!!!!!!! are your brake/running lights working.

same thing happened to me not too long ago. bad fuse.

Did you check the Tail Fuse (10A) under the hood?
