Clock/AC display question

Is this section supposed to have a day and dim function with the switch? Mine has been dim and hard to read so I did the T4rewired mod but its still a little dim in sunlight so I'm thinking it might be stuck on dim mode no matter what I do with the light switch. Its not on the dimmer circuit. Or am I crazy and there is only one brightness setting?

It's definitely dimmable. Mine has similar mods and it's still dimmable. My initial guess would be that the LEDs that you have installed are not dimmable. do you have the stock bulbs you can try to see if they dim? Also if you don't have 6v led's or the 12v mod, then the LEDs may be underpowered.
