Dash / mounting kit question

Hey guys im having a hard time trying to figure out what mounting kit i need for a pioneer double din i installed. Ive searched and searched for the correct kit with no luck. I have a 2004 limited that had oem nav in it. The kit i ordered was for a 2003-08 limited or sport. it was the american international TOY-K961. This kit however is much wider than it should be. I dont think any amount of trimming would get it to fit. That leaves me wondering if I'm going to be stuck with the kit that has the two "ears" on each side which would leave a pretty good gap on the top and bottom. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry about the bad camera phone pics... here it is with and without the dash kit. This kit would look great but would require some major trimming and dremel work.

U can use the urban runner trim ring which cost 80+ dollars i think. Or you can use the metra 95-8202. Im using the metra right now and its fine for me, i use 2 iso radio stack mount so its like using a double din.

that and scoshe kit dosent cover up the sides enough, it expose the edge/sides of the radio. i did a comparison thread and have both metra and scoshe kit, the metra cover the sides more better in my opinion.
