Anyone use one of those molded dash pads for sale on eBay?

Yes, i have installed them for customers but none for myself at this point.
Pros: they hide the ugly cracks and dents
Cons: it's plastic, armor all it all you want, still gonna be plastic.
They usually run about 90% on fitting, leaving big cutouts for the vents. I'd suggest using silicone to adhere them to the dash, that way if you decide you don't like it in a month or a year, the silicone will pull apart fairly easy versus an epoxy. They take spray dye ( spray paint for fabric/plastic ) very well.
I'm debating getting one for my project as well, due to two huge cracks that are just fugly. Post some pics if you go with it.
