Dash Swap

Did a search with no luck. My Question to the forum;

Can I swap a 88 dash with factory tach and cruise (4by truck) to a 89 without either (4runner 4by)? Are the dash wiring harnesses the same. Thanks in advance.

I think the dash itself is the same and you just have to change the gauge cluster. Not sure if the wiring is there for the tach, do you have access to the doner truck if needed?

I'm close to Winnipeg.
I do have access to the donor truck.
