Dashboard Issue - Anyone see this?

Just noticed that my dashboard is slightly pulling away from the main console just above the glovebox next to the radio. It doesn't seem like there are any clips holding it in, but it's hard to tell without pulling it away more. Is it glued? Has anyone seen this or have a fix? Thanks...

mine has started to do that as well- not to bad yet so i'm just leaving it.
it's kind of annoying though

yes, just the corner...annoying describes it well...not sure if it's been like that for awhile now and just noticed it today...

Mine is the same way. I usually push on it once a week thinking that maybe just once it will stay back in, but it doesn't. Besides it goes along nice with all the scratches I have on my glove box from my fiance dragging her purse across it every time she gets in and out of the car! :dammit: lol

So lame, I have it too... You can see the yellowish foam crap that used to be the adhesive

Yep, I have it too. I've thought about taking some JB weld and putting a bunch back behind it and then putting a ratchet strap from the top of the dash to the bottom and pulling it down...but I'm not sure if there is anything strong enough for me to put the strap on. You guys are right though...it is very annoying.

And bgmac, I've done the once a week push too. No luck on my end either. :bash:

This is due to years of hot climate warping the mold, corners being the least stable that's why you see the flipped page style warp

Yeah my wife has a pink swiss army knife on her 4runner key ring actually...but that hasn't helped yet. :bash:

I just put my gum behind it and push down once in a while. seems to work a few days at a time. But you have to remember to pull the old piece out before you put a new one or it pushes it out further.

I can't believe how common this is! I thought mine was like that after 2 wrecks. I have some 3M foam tape I keep forgetting to try.
