There is 3 pics on page one

so after watching macgyver for like 3 hours I have determined that a couple of paper clips, gun powder and a digital watch just isnt the answer im looking for... although it is a good way to remove the dash in 10 secs!!
On a serious note, I might try using a hot glue gun and see what happens.

i have the same problem, best bet is jb weld. i would find something that u can wedge between the seat and the corner to hold it in place. let it sit overnight and that should do the trick.

Mine is like it too, what do you know.
I've been planning on epoxying it in place. I'll get some pics and post before and after.

After this thread was started I looked at mine and yep its deformed as well. Mine is not as bad as the pictures posted here though. Could be living in Seattle and it does not normally get that hot here (Except today ) so it might not warp as bad in this climate.

I got some special cement that sticks really well and might work. Problem is it requires a drying agent and it might be difficult getting that in there. Zip Kicker and Hot Stuff combination I think.

so crazy this topic was posted, i thought i was the only one!!!!! I spent about an hour this morning trying to fix mine with super glue. I put a ton of glue and then rigged up a jack handle against the seat to hold it in place for about an hour. So far so good but its still not perfect. There are (or used to be ) some sort of clips that held it in place. If this doesnt hold the reason is there isnt enough surface area to hold itself together . Im pretty sure some double sided tape with super glue on each side would give the dash and that pad enough to hold together if you could rig up something to hold them that way overnight.

Wow, I can't believe this thread is still going...thought I'd post it and be the only one with the problem!

Mine is gargage kept (at least as long as I've had it. The car was a MI/NJ car before NY, so it has never been subjuected to super high temps, even in summer.

I think a solution to the overnight hold-down pressure might be a large vice clamp or two...question is...what adhesive? It looks like it was orginally some two sided foam/tape. You can see it in there now yellowed and dried up. I"m thinking somthing like that or Gorilla Glue. I plan on doing some browsing at Lowe's today

the other trucks were just built on a friday, i geuss our trucks were built earlier in the week.... has anyone not thought of just getting the door molding adhesive (its yellow) and pulling back on it and then resetting it? you guys think too hard about this stuff sometimes

If you already have glue residue in there someone else tried to fix it already. The dash pad is held on with little metal clips that go through slots and then are bent from the backside. Once they pop out there is nothing to hold them back in.

I assumed mine was like this because the previous owners stereo had gotten stolen. (evident by the broken glass under the door sill)

I made the choice to mess with it and pulled it out a little more by accident. I plan on fixing mine with some 5 minute epoxy and holding it in place with a brace until cured. Should be back to normal.

Have you guys also had to reglue the edge around the trim piece/upholstery right above the arm rests on the front doors? I already did that when I purchased the car years ago.
