How are you shaving it?

I work at a place where they have a machine shop, so they did it for me. From what they said it was super easy. Also since I was using 1.5 rear spacers for FJ I had to trim them a little before installing them and it was easy to do at home. Here are picture of parts that were cutout from the rear spacers.

My lift is done. After customizing DS 1” front spacer (machined to 0.8”) and 1.5” rear FJ spacer (machined to 1”) my total lift is: 1.45” on the front and 0.95” rear: exactly what I wanted.
Total cost was $212.60: $69.26 for spacers and $143.34 for lifetime alignment.
I did work by myself, it was not hard just time consuming: around 4.5 hours front and 1.5 hours rear.
I was worry about compressing springs (rented spring compressor form Autozone) but that was not an issue at all. It was easy and maybe added 1 hour to the whole job.
One thing I noticed that my truck got slightly quitter especially the rear. I guess that is a one benefit of using DS spacers.
