Are you putting it in or having someone else do it?
Lets hit the trails saturday! Johnson siding again I want to complete those trails I failed at last time! lol I have a few jeep (eww) guys from work that want to come play too
No, they go in really easy. You gotta remove the sway bar, so it's not connected to the spindle. Remove the two bolts on the lower ball joint and then knock the upper ball joint out of the top of the spindle. Then you can push down on the lower control arm and work the strut a little to get it out. It definitely helps to have another set of hands to help push stuff out of the way so you can work it out, but it could easily be done alone. Once the strut was in place I put the nuts on the top studs just to hold it in place and then pushed the LCA down to get the bottom of the shock in place. Really the hardest part of it all is getting the two bolts on the bottom of the lower ball joint started again. Here again it helps to have another set of hands. Only used a spring compressor to put the strut together. It wouldn't help any with trying to get the strut in- it would just get in the way.
Exact same setup as I have, less the spacers. Rides great, only change will be the 886's when the bumper and winch go on.
Hi Bigrupp, I am really looking into the same setup you have for my 04runner but I was wondering what height setting that you have set on the front shocks. Also, I saw you have a 3/4 inch spacer...is the spacer so you get a full 3 inches of lift in the front? or is it even a 3 inch lift in the front all together??? cuz thats what im going for..
So how much lift did you get with just the 884? I read some got 2.5" and some 3"+...

Did you get more lift out of the new setup over the Daystar?
Ha! If you're close to Virginia I'll give you mine. aside from taking out the rear axle (easier to mod) it's a pretty simple install.
