Great pics! The truck is coming along nicely. the 255/75 BFG's are a good tire at a great price. Have you considered a set of sliders yet?

looks good. your rig a 4x4 or 2wd? pull those splash guards off the back and it'll look a lot cleaner

It's a 4WD.

You can actually get fined for not having mud flaps in some places. As long as they don't hit the tires I figure I'll leave them.

Yeah, I need to take it to a welder to get some sliders made. Next thing on my list.

Feels just like stock to me. I'm doing a fairly difficult trail around here known as "Backroad to Crown King" in a couple weeks.

You May want to Put your running Boards Back On to Save your Body When Doing Crown King Back Way ...I Just Went Last Weekend with a group and I Have a 3 " lift with Arb Bumper and Rear bumper And the trail has Gotten a Bit roughr Since Last time I went . Meerly a suggestion as YOU WILL Bottom Out At One or Two Spots . Im using BFG all Terrains 265/75/16

Nice truck! I'm in Chandler.

I'm heading up the back way to Crown King tomorrow. I'll keep your advice in mind! Is it that bad even using the bypasses? Another guy just went in his stock Tacoma and said it wasn't too bad if you were careful where you put your tires.

Hey, looks good! I just got my 3/2 cornfed installed yesterday with the same tires. Couldn't pass them up. I should be out there with all of you to run to the coke ovens next month. Can't wait to put some faces with names.

Welp I made it through. Scratched my rear bumper a tiny bit and my tail pipe has gone from a circle to a half circle.

I think we're shooting for Nov 15th. Coke Ovens is actually rated harder in my trail book than Back way to Crown King!:bugeye:

I do have a CB radio in my truck for trips like this.

yeah your truck was one of those i saw before buying the tires. i love them so far.

save up for the OME lift and be done with it. :

I am stuck between a rock and a hardplace I am really close to ordering the OME springs and struts. But then I might be getting a 93 4x4 extcab toyota pickup for free all it needs is a trans and just lift it and wheel it instead of beating up my daily driver. So it is a tough descion. Oh yeah how hard was it to stuff that spare up there when I got my tires I only ordered 4 and since they were still on sale I just ordered another one for my spare?

Tough Decision indeed. Spare fits up there w/ no issues.

Yeah, it's state land so you do need a permit. That said, they're not out there checking either.
