Anyway ... the problem with the Revtek kit is that it is very expensive and includes longer rear shocks. Since you have XREAS, you can't use the longer rear shocks from Revtek, so you are paying for something you won't even be able to use. I ran the Revtek kit for a long time, and that, along with the fact that it rusted, was the only real drawback. I worried about blowing the rear shocks because I hadn't yet found NE, Anthony hadn't yet come out with his re-loc design, and so I was stuck running a lift without any way to compensate for it in the rear. I still have my longer Revtek shocks laying around here!!!
Anyway, the rusting, the price, and the fact that you're paying for longer rear shocks that you can't even use are the three drawbacks to the Revtek kit. That being said, our kit is made of polyurethane, so it will never rust ... our kit makes the lift compatible with XREAS ... and it more cost effective. It won't sag, period. That was one of our biggest concerns in designing the kit and deciding on the final spacer material. Our kit has a lifetime guarantee too, so if it EVER compresses, we will replace it at no cost to you. Similarly, if later on down the road you decide you'd like more lift, or less lift, just let me know and we'll make you some taller spacers and swap them out with you for free.
As far as height ... I have run the following combinations:
3" in front, 2.5" in rear
4" in front, 2.5" in rear
4.5" in front, 3.5" in rear
By far, my current 4.5" front, 3.5" rear kit is my favorite. With the rear shock re-locators mounting the shocks 2.5" above their original location, that 3.5" rear lift is basically the same as a 1" lift as far as the stock XREAS shocks are concerned (since 3.5" of extension minus 2.5" after re-location equals 1" of extension at rest).
My only concern for you would be that with the BFG 265/70s, you might think that they look a little small with 4" of lift.
As for the re-locs, you are correct -- you do NOT need to drill a hole - the holes are already there and if you look at the shock subframe from the back, you'll see the holes. I have NO idea why they are there, but Anthony and I joke that Toyota must've put them there knowing we'd all be lifting our trucks and re-locating our shocks.
