If the meet time is 0700, we'll roll at 0730. If 0730, roll at 0800. Trying to keep the departure time as early as possible to maximize trail time since it's just a day trip.

Nice. Moved you up from tentative to going. Tundra sounds good.

Tough to say on trail conditions, but doubt it's too muddy. I don't swamp my truck and wouldn't expect anyone else to that didn't want to. Having said that, there are a few deeper and shallower routes through a few small places so people will have the option to pick their line.

Your truck looks good [MENTION=112873]Da8ron[/MENTION]. You'll have zero issues with the terrain there. It's pretty tame.

I'm just home from holiday travel and doing some last minute prep.

Will plan to bring some leftover ham/buns and a few sodas to share.

^ I should've added that there isn't any food/drink nearby once we're in GRSF so people may want to pack a cooler with other snacks/lunch stuff or stock up at Wawa in the morning.

We're meeting at the address below at 0700, gassing up, and heading out at 0730 (or earlier if everyone is there and ready before then).

Looks like today was a perfect day -- wish I could have joined up. Do you go up often? After the first couple weeks of January, I should have a lot more time on the weekends.

Yeah the weather worked out pretty well. Trails were drier than expected - it's more fun after a recent run of rainy days. Still a good day though and great to meet some other members in person.

I can't say that I go a lot/as much as I want to, but I'll post up here next time I'm headed out to see if anyone wants to head out. May make a trip down to George Washington National Forest (Long Run/Flagpole/Peter's Mill) next time.

Out of curiosity, how long was the drive from Frederick to the trails? I'm about an hour East of Frederick so I am trying to gauge drive time as compared to two hours getting to Rausch Creek in PA.

Took us about an hour and a quarter from Frederick (minus a second fuel stop for a Humvee driver that shall remain nameless).

I'm working on a short video reel now and will post the GPS track from today in a bit.

Let me know next time you're headed up to Rausch Creek, I'd like to tag along.
