Ddm tuning hid kits

I have ran their HID kits on the past but it was just the low beam. Is anyone running their hi/low kit? I originally ordered it but didn't like how it was set up and didn't have enough slack in the wiring harness to run it correctly so I was wondering if it has changed.

Also, I'm checking out their led offload lights and they look pretty sweet. About $90 for a pair and they're 2000 lumens each. If I remember correctly a incandescent light gives off about 15 lumens per watt.

I've never used their hi/low kit either, but their low beam kits are top notch and VERY cheap. I've never had a single issue with any of their products. I'd check amazon.com for LED lights, I was looking there the other day and they have a ton of them for pretty cheap.

I've heard of a lot of horror stories in the last year or so about DDM. I had one of their kits in my 528i, I had some issues with it. I've heard they've gotten worse since then.

Also, unless you're doing projectors, I personally think HID's look like hell. You'd be better off with a cleaner Halogen bulb (like a Silverstar) and getting more light out of a good set of driving lights.

My $.02

Yeah I've only used the low kit but it was really good light output. It did get annoying having no high beam though.

As for driving lights, I really like the ipf 968's but at 100w that's roughly 1500 lumens and DDM has led ones that put off 2000 each for only $90 a pair. So I'm thinking of going that route.

I have the high/lo kit, it's pretty good, I've had it for about a month now and no problems, the wires were a little short but nothing too bad, I was for sure able to deal. No complaints so far.

I remember trying to install the hi/low kit originally but it left the wires sitting on top of the radiator. So I just exchanged it for the low kit. It didn't seem like the bulbs wanted to fit either but I don't remember, is was like 2 years ago
