Dead spot in Super White Paint ('16)

I've had my 2016 for a few months now and I'm noticing a dead spot or dull spot in my paint on the hood. (https://imgur.com/a/L2papFl)
It's possible I didn't notice this b/c I got it in the summer time, but now w/ more gray days than I can remember, I'm noticing this defect in my paint.
I wash every week or so, have used spray wax but never done a clay treatment or buff, so it's not like I'm tearing the paint off.

Ever seen this before? Have the extended warranty until 125k, FYI.

Hard to tell from pictures, but the size of the spot changes due to the direction of the picture. Cannot tell but you could be seeing a shadow from previous bodywork or painting.
How does it feel to the touch? Is it as smooth as the surrounding areas?
Look at it with a magnifying glass, are you looking through the topcoat at primer?

It's definitely as smooth as the other sections of the hood. I never noticed it while applying quick wax, etc. There was no body work done to the hood, as far as records are concerned.
I'll check it out w/ a magnifying glass for sure.
