Btw your first statements were calling us stealerships and that you worked in the business so you knew how everything worked. I'm sorry the facts I gave you aren't what you wanted to hear.

Not all dealerships are stealerships, but I'm sure you know many are. There is a stigma for a reason. I have seen enough of it to have that opinion.
I worked for two good dealerships, an okay one and one bad one.
I doubt anyone knows how "Everything works" in a given business. They know the specific model they utilize and are aware of others and some even have great expertise, but to think anyone knows everything is naive.
I never claimed to know everything, nor did I say or imply such a thing. Just that I know more than the average dude out to buy a car from my time learning/working at dealerships and my time negotiating and buying from both dealerships and brokers.
There's nothing more to say about this really. It's getting circular and going nowhere.
I didn't mean any ill intent towards you and I am not taking what you said personally either.
We all have different experiences. I'm not gonna preach to you about how you're wrong and I'm right because of X or Y factor, I'm simply going to share my experiences with others and allow them to form their own opinions. If they decide to give a broker a try and it works out for them- great, if it doesn't, oh well. We are all adults and can make decisions for ourselves.
I'm going to continue to buy cars as I have in the past- go to dealers, private sellers and brokers alike, negotiate the heck out of the deal and buy them from the person who gives me the lowest price possible, be it from a dealer, private seller or a broker.
Like I said, the best deal I ever got was from a dealer, it was good timing.
Take care.
