Dealership Oil Change - Total Time?

Don't forget that you're not the only guy getting his LoF/ToyotaCare Service done; it's about 20min from driving into the bay and out, but it can be upwards of hours depending on how busy and stacked the ROs are. Saturdays at my old dealer could mean a couple hours of waiting even if you came in early. Appointments trump walk-ins, so even if you're there as we open, there might be a dozen vehicles ahead of you and out of those maybe half are waiting as well.

On the bright side for the cost of a BMW oil change you can drop off your Toyota, uber to a nice cafe, have lunch, uber back, and still be cheaper.

BMW would pickup my car for me, or drop off a loaner and pickup my car, or have a car waiting for me there, or drive me to work... whatever i wanted. I'll pay a little more every 10-15k miles for that.

(the other things I miss were having a dedicated service adviser, the same person who handled my car every time whose email address and cell phone number I had. the scenery while waiting was better, after the 4runner and tacoma you run out of new cars to look at when waiting at toyota)

In Hawaii, yes. Toyota and Lexus dealerships owned by the same company. In fact, Toyota parts are cheaper at Lexus. Go figure.

UPDATE:

So got there yesterday afternoon around 4:15 pm and there was no one else there. The dealership was very nice, and they got me right in. Took about an hour total (including a free wash) and the guy who helped me in service hooked me up with discounts which made the oil change and rotation $55. Between the 3 dealers I have used since purchasing the 4Runner this one was the best overall experience, so I know where I will be going from now on.

I traded a Lexus NX for my 4Runner. Yes, they will give you a loaner if your LEXUS is in for work. If you bring your Toyota to Lexus, they will not give you a loaner as your Toyota is not part of the luxury customer service package you get by purchasing a Lexus.

I own both a Lexus and a Toyota and I get them both serviced at Lexus. I get a loaner for both. Maybe it is because I own the Lexus but I have never had an issue with my Toyota.

Yes, its because you're already a current customer that you get the special treatment. My wife still owns a '15 IS350, and the dealership has offered to perform work on my 4R.

Had my 10K service (oil & filter, tire rotation) done last week and it was just under an hour including complimentary wash.
