Rear Toyota Round Emblem Removal
JGRIMBALL: Thanks for reposting the question, directed at Sac State (he should have a much better answer), instead of the PM to me.
I just realized that I never posted what I have already tried and failed (I didn't want you to repeat the same stuff if we don't hear from Sac State soon): I removed the hatch handle and a license plate light to see if it attached from behind, like the grill's emblem did. No luck there at all. I couldn't see or feel anything from behind. Therefore, my guess is that it is simply adhesive like the rest of the emblems. However, it seems like it is on there pretty strong.....so some instructions on how Sac State removed it would be a big help. Pics too Sac State. I would love to see how the black on black looks. Thx.

JDM Chrome Taillight Trim
Well, I went home at lunch and found my Taillight Trim waiting for me. I bought them from Carson Toyota: http://www.newtoyotaparts.com/product/?id=1191 I love the look and don't regret being the first one on here to buy these.
I haven't mounted them yet, not only because my 4runner is dirty, but also because I am contemplating what I want to do as far as tinting the taillights. If anyone is local and wants to try them on their 4runner, just let me know and you can try them on. It would be especially cool to see why they don't fit on the JDM black or chrome taillights (according to the vendors).

To give you guys an idea what it looks like, without completely installing it yet, here it is held up with a small piece of scotch tape. As far as seeing what it would look like in black, we have some great photo-choppers on T4R that could probably give us a nice resemblance. However, that would probably be best after I have some good installed pics. Purposely large pic (please pardon the dirt):

I installed a two tone grey/charcoal Wheelskin leather wheel cover. Wow! Very high quality. No $300 wood wheel for me, this $40 leather OEM quality matches the grey/charcoal Sport interior perfectly. I know pics.

That was fun to see the taillight trim in black; however, I think I'll stick with the chrome. That heat gun method sounds kinda hardcore. I think I'll try that "Bumper Sticker Remover". Does it have any other brand name to it?
Black Pearl Update: I called Cam Garza and found out that the front symbol would be $34.91 and the rear would be $48.54 and shipping would be about $3. Looks like I might bust out the spray paint for at least the rear symbol. I might get the front so that I can switch back and forth. Does anyone know how much these emblems run in the standard chrome? Ok, no response, so I just looked them up on http://www.toyota-parts-dealer.com/. And found out that they list for $17.61 & $36.18 and are discounted on that site to $14.09 & $28.94 respectively.

JDM Chrome Taillight Trim Installed
I installed my JDM Chrome Taillight Trim. This picture shows the backing that was sticking out as I attached the trim. This allowed for me to fine tune the placement. Be sure to start the little tabs from both sides. I only did one side on a few of them on the first installation and I almost didn't get some of it off. The second installation was a lot easier by have two tabs per length of adhesive.
