Don't think anyone has ever really "Predicted" much. Those Nostradamus ones are as vague as Horriblescopes! People can intemperate them as it fits their needs. A real prediction would be specific, as in " In the year 2045, on Jan. 17th, Steve Johnson of 275 Cleveland St. in Springfield, will poop out 17 blue marbles at 3:41 pm."

They proved what? That their gods would or would not grant them another calender? Nothing mathematical about that...

The Mayans were good observational astronomers, just like the Greeks and Romans...but that doesn't mean that I will believe in this movie:

(BTW, the plot of this movie is absolutely hilarious. If you have even the most basic info about neutrinos, you know that it is completely impossible to cause a rise in the earth's temperature.)

That movie was awful. I dont believe any of this junk. The mayan calendar had to stop somewhere, as do all calendars. The one on my wall ends on december 31, 2011 im sure thats not doomsday LOL.
