That looks great! I love the rack. The body lift looks good too and I agree on the extra .5" being worth it since you're already in there. BTW, did you do the steering spacer? I know technically it's not needed but it seems that some still install it. Sounds like you're not wasting anytime upgrading to the 285s either. Can't wait to see it.
Nope, I did not use the steering spacer. And yeah I am ready for the big tires! I am going to be selling my Cooper AT3's for $150 OBO too. They have 35-38K miles on them and they come with a 55,000 warranty so they are definitely still good. Just was too excited to go ahead and get bigger tires!
deedst4r I know you're missing your 4runner so I thought I'd share these for ya

Overcooked, but I like it.

I forgot to mention, seeing the Whitson Metalworks rack in person really makes me appreciate it more. Great work Josh!

How much rubbing issues of any did you have with the SCS the 285's and the .5" BL?
His racks do look amazing. I want one so bad too.
Deedst4r, your truck is looking great. The new BFGs really put it over the top in looks (and functionality). Good luck keeping that MPG up though...ha:moon:
It rubbed like a B**** when the tires were first on. I moved the fender liners forward and then trimmed a little off the bumpers and now they don't rub at all. I have yet to take them off road so that could cause some more rubbing. Overall it wasnt too bad though. Just takes 10 minutes to move and trim stuff.

Get one! and thanks! I love it. The gas stations love me too!
Yes the Whitson Metalworks rack is seriously a very impressive rack. I recommend it to anyone thinking about buying one! You wont regret it! Just make sure you buy a fairing somewhere. My fairing should be in within the next week. I bought a used yakima one of ebay.
Since Joe hasn't seen it yet.... the fairing is under the rack to stop all the air going under the rack. Apparently a local guy (here in Tuscaloosa) made the fairing from aluminum and it was coated in bed liner. Also yes, it's a hanma 40.How are you going to add a fairing with the light bar there? just curious.
Is that a Hanma Double row 40"?
