Deep pan for 2WD trans

How about some extra trans cooling via greater fluid capacity - well, not really extra cooling but more stable trans temp

As far as I know, you can take the deeper pan of the A340F(4wd trans) and install it on the A340E(2wd trans). You also have to make sure that you use the 4wd filter as well since it has a deeper pickup for the deeper pan. You also have to use the complete dipstick assembly from the 4wd pan as well.

However, I would probably just add an external cooler instead of going through all the work to change the transmission pan. Or you can go ahead with a 4wd swap and you will get the deeper pan in the process.:biggrin1:
