Post a pic.

There is a screw(bolt) that has worked its way out. More than likely it is the same one as mine.

Take off the back panel. If you are looking out from inside the 4runner, it will be a little to the left of center, close to the top of where the panel rests. I used some blue loctite before screwing it back down.

I repaired this in 2008, so I cannot remember exactly what this screw was holding.

and about the Yeti's ... i dont think thats possible because all of the Yeti's moved out to the us because of insecurity reasons ..... you know the cartels are kidnaping their familys:gun6:

I have been trying to rack my brain to remember where exactly it is, and whether it is a screw or bolt (I think bolt), but 12 hours and counting at work on Monday before a blizzard makes it a little hard to multitask.

But look around and it will be pretty obvious that such is out of place.

If not that then you may have a pebble between the glass and rubber molding. Had this happen on my 98 and it scratched the hell outta the glass when I rolled the back window up.

Just wanted to say y'all are the bomb. I have the same scratch on my 98 and was wondering what the heck it was from! I'll be taking off the panel and checking!
