Defiant + BudBuilt Hidden winch

Is it possible to run the Defiant light bar and the BudBuilt Hidden winch kit together? Has anyone done this?

I've been wondering about this too! I have the defiant light bar at the moment. The only concern I think that would be really there would be lack of air through the grille which is kind of a problem. I don't think there would be any interference though with the two. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I called a couple weeks ago to find out what winch fit on the tray. Bud indicated that the winch tray would have a couple holes to mount lights on. So from a functional standpoint the winch tray should get the job of extra lighting done.

Now addressing your question: Would the tray work with the defiant light bar?

I don't see any pictures of how the light bar attaches so this is a pure guess, but I don't think it would work.

Then again, I don't see any use for that light bar. It is all show and no go. 100% style / 100% useless.:moon:

Now that I think about it, that light bar is kind of like fake fender vents.

Opps wait, my truck has a fake hood scoop, Sooooo anyway, enjoy the light bar :D:hiding:

I like the idea of 2 extra light in the lower grill along with the BB winch set up .. screw the light bar then ahha

How is the light bar "all show", as it is a bar to mount lights on...

Seems pretty functional to me. They don't market it as a bumper.

I have seen them in person, and they are very well made.

I completely agree. I didn't buy mine with the intentions of using it as a bumper. It wasn't made for that. It is a light bar. A bar in which you mount LIGHTS too, and my lights are functional and not pure aesthetics. I wanted more light, and with no real need for a winch bumper at this point in time, I felt this was a great second, and yes, It does look good IMO.

Here is a picture of a close up of it. I don't have any other pictures at the moment, and could get more later if anyone wants them.

Yeah that does not look too bad as simply a light bar. The pics on the website made it look like it was trying to be a pre-runner bumper.

If I can run both the bar + bb winch kit that would rock. I do like the option to run more lighting plus its a good point for tying down my kayaks. I had a N-Fab bar on my Taco and it was very functional.
