DeMello 4runner Price

We are most likely going to be letting our 2015 4runner go later this year (unless the right offer comes sooner). We want to build a more custom vehicle that gets us back to our roots a little.

That said, we thought we'd open up the conversation to what are "slightly" used but properly built 5th gen 4runners going for? Not what they list for but what they are actually selling for?

We've sold a number of our company vehicles in the past, those that don't know, we do a fair amount of freshing up to the vehicles before they leave us. We'd hate to have someone buy one with our stamp on it and have an issue with it.

Ours has currently just under 20k on it and it's a 2015 4runner. The build is fairly extensive so I will link the original thread. here http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/193735-demello-2015-build.html

At it's base it's a 2015 trail edition premium with a 3rd row added.

We did a lot of custom stuff to it as well as bolt on aftermarket items. So you wouldn't be purchasing someones hacked together wiring job or booger welded frame gussets.

Just curious what the value of it is, so we know how to price it when we are ready.

Just by adding the 3rd row I think that there would be several here who would pay for that feature. Good luck!

Seriously. I bought the SR5P because of the 3rd row. Dang I wish I would have known you could do that....

I would pay 38k for that. So Cal has a 4runner tax so it might help the resale. If I sell it for you can I get a bumper? :-) I keep seeing your FB posts and dreaming.

Oh I'm not leaving! Most likely I would get a 4th gen with a v8 or a Lexus version with the v8. I've actually grown to love the 5th gen. But I really miss the v8.

I would take 40 today. 38 isn't that far off. And yes we often offer finders fees if the price is met.

Good luck and don't underestimate the 3rd row seat selling feature. There's not many out there who want it but if you find that one guy...
 
Well... I was looking for a new 4Runner or LC at the end of last year as we were expecting a new baby. We lost the pregnancy so I decided to keep the FJ for now. I'd be interested in this 4Runner however. We plan on a 2nd kid when wounds heal. I don't want to get into some kind of bidding situation, but I'd like to be considered for purchase when the time come.

Would a '10 white FJ sweeten the deal? :hello:

I gotta agree with this. Over the years I have seen plenty of people who want a Trail, but need a 3rd row. My guess is that the 3rd row will make this Runner very desirable to a few people who want both.
 
Get a GX460 and modify it! get the one prior to the fugly facelift

GX470 looks are just dated now...

No bidding war necessary. I figured I would start the convo now so if someone is thinking about getting one, they would know.

I don't want to really sell it yet but if someone wanted it and they offered over 40k I'd have to strongly consider that. Or We will wait 8-12 months and ask a little less?
