Demello Bumper Poll single hoop vs triple hoop

Wanted to see what you guys thought on the Demello bumper. Do you guys like the single hoop or the triple hoop more? Single hoop pic is [MENTION=4517]jediwebdude[/MENTION] and the triple is [MENTION=47269]Darklight[/MENTION]

I prefer the lighter weight of the single hoop, but there have been multiple times while off-roading that I wished I had the triple hoop. If I ever move on to a newer 4Runner, I will get a triple hoop. So far, I haven't busted a headlight on a rock or a tree, but have come quite close.

i voted for the triple but i think both look sweet- i dont do hardcore offroad but i like the headlight protection against branches, fender benders and deer

Personally for DO I like their single. The triple looks more like wings.. . and not the good kind.
Although I do have a triple hoop from SW and that was for the headlight protection. It just looks weird on the DO

3 hoop

I can share with you my thoughts on a 3 hoop. It offers extra protection, it also acts as a cross hair. It is very handy on the trail. I know exactly where the corners of my 4Runner are and how close I can get to an object.

I do not think it weighs very much more than a single hoop design. Maybe 20 lbs more, really. The bumper itself is one of the lightest and sleekest ones out for a 4Runner in steel.

Either way it is up to personal preference. After all at the end of the day it is your truck. I know you will love it though. :bigok:

That's why they call the triple hoop Demello "The Evil Eye" bumper.

Same...the Acro lights.

The PIAA lights mounted on top of the bumper are being replaced in a few weeks with the Dark Zero LEDs. I'll post details on my build thread once that is complete.

I voted triple hoops. The clean lines of no hoops would also look awesome. You win either way. If you're looking for more strength and rigidity then triple hoop all the way. There was some discussion over on 120 a few years back during the development of the SW bumper regarding significant strength increase with triple hoops. Plus theres something about Jason's design of the triple hoops that gives it that sinister look.
