Denso Radiator - What Cap Fits

I bought a replacement Denso radiator (41501) 221-0508 and didn't realize the cap did not come with it. I have tried searching for a cap to use but I'm not having any luck finding what appears to be the exact one. I'm hoping someone here can give me some guidance....Will an OEM cap fit? Local auto parts store have it? Should I bring it with me to make sure the cap fits?

It's a stock replacement radiator, right? If so, why wouldn't you automatically assume that the stock cap would fit?

Seemingly legit question.....unfortunately the Toyota parts guy told me that the OEM cap may not fit this radiator, he wasn't sure, but said they do differ.....that is why I am asking the question.

Don't want to reuse a 15 year old cap, but had planned on testing the fit, I don't know much about this stuff so I wanted some helpful opinions before proceeding with a cap that may not work properly.

Like CSP said, just try your original and if it fits, go buy a new one.

Dumbass parts guy probably doesn't know Toyota switched from 0.9 bar cap to 1.1 bar cap in MY2001 and that is the reason for the difference in p/n between what he stocks and what goes on your truck. Moral: Never listen to a parts guy that hasn't been on the job for 20 years. Either cap will fit and work just fine.
