Denver area = Angle Grinder?

Anyone have an Angle Grinder they could lend me?

I have a bumper sitting on my living room floor just begging to be hung on the front of my truck!

Fish, if you want to bring your stuff over to the house, I have an angle grinder, air drill, floor jack, jack stands, etc. and will help "supervise" the project. LOL

I live 5 miles south of Parker.

might help to know what part of Denver you are in,, Denver is a pretty big area, or just go buy one, they are pretty cheap, can be had for about $20

hf, good call. i just hate to buy another one (i have one in Minnesota, where i moved here from) since i use it once every year, if that...

i'm in Denver proper; Capitol Hill to be specific. i guess i should have said Denver literal instead of area!

Well, HF did the trick... $14.99 for the grinder, $2 for the cutting wheel, and a whole lot of labor and I got the bumper mounted. More to come later in my future 'build thread'

very much still "in progress," but i think the hard work is paying off! i hit a deer a few Weeks back & decided to do a couple upgrades.

Good to see you got it mounted. I was going to say that I have a few grinders. The bumper looks real tight to the fenders. Remember that the body and frame flex seperatly and the bumper will come in contact with the body causing damage. I have about 1/2" gap and that seems to work well.

I'm not sure I can really do anything about that actually. The bumper is designed so that the winch plate rests on top of the frame rail ends and then there are plates on either end that hug the sides of the frame rails (*very* tightly). The whole shooting match is tucked up pretty tight to everything. Looks nice now, but I'll be pretty bummed if it flexes and starts causing other issues!

I think I'll be putting the last coat of paint on it tonight, so it should be done by the weekend. Note to self, don't take on a painting project without a garage...
