I just returned from the auto show. The 4 runner was in my mind the best deal there. By the way they had 3 there and all had crowds around them. So I was curious about the new Tahoe. It was massive and I didn't care for the interior at all. Or the exterior either. The new Sequoia was beautiful. I would drive that in a heartbeat. The Land cruiser was nice but I liked the Sequoia better. The new Avalon is pretty slick too for car fans, which I am. The price at 42k for the Limited was a little rich, bringing me back to the great value the 4WD 4 Runner is. When we checked out the Lexus GX460 the barn door was open and my buds were making fun of it. To sum it up almost everything decent with leather, sunroof, nav, etc. was at least in the high 30's. With 2 or 4WD, car, truck or SUV. So I'm saying I went into it with an open mind and looked at a lot of real nice cars and trucks. For a car I would have picked the new Avalon and in general the 4 Runner is what I would have bought. Of course the Lexus cars and trucks were killer but just a premium for people with money to burn for the name. Cant argue with the beautiful Mercedes lineup for looks and interiors but junk is junk. My 2 cents. It was a fun day, after that we went down by Coors field for the Rockies opener insanity and got a buzz on.
