Sweet build!
do you have to run hub rings with those wheels or just different lug nuts

Went to Discount today and got them all installed.
Got a pretty good deal on them too:

Brings me right back to the price of just the wheels, so basically got free lugs and install.
But oh man, these things stick out far. If I didn't have the fender flares... I can't even imagine.

Just a quick update I thought I'd share with you guys:
Committed to Colorado State University the other day, studying mechanical engineering!
Moving up to Fort Collins sometime in August, where I'll probably be spending the next few years!

Summer is coming quick, which means I've got a lot of work to do!
I'm planning the following for this summer:
Rock Therapy (May 27-31)
Colorado Toyota Meet (June 21)
Moab Trip (July 26 - August 2)
Colorado Toyota Jamboree (August 7-9)
Before all of that actually happens, here's what I'm planning to get done:
- Front bumper (paint + mount), should be here before mid-May.
- Repaint rear bumper and CB mount (look at picture below)
- Decide between swingout/back/roof rack and then make/buy that
- Absolutely need a winch before the Jamboree
- Sliders are also very necessary
- Trim fenders? Inside, when the tires flex with the spacers, it hits right on the edge of the fender behind the flares
Maintenance items that need attention:
- Steering rack is still leaking. Probably needs to be replaced sometime..
- Hood flexes at the mounting bracket now. Reinforce if possible, otherwise sport hood
- Unsure if my CB is working/grounded/tuned correctly. Only been able to test with one person (who's CB is also questionable) and it didn't work very well
- Looks like one of my CVs might have a tiny rip. Just gotta make sure it doesn't get any bigger..
Here's what this winter did to my bumper:
A poor picture but it's still pretty visible. The paint is really starting to go quickly now, but it's 100% expected as it was simply primered and sprayed, nothing fancy. Just need to grind it off, paint, and repeat every few months!
So yeah, expect some bigger things to come in the next month or two. Can't wait for all of these exciting events!

Congrats on getting to engineering school, one of the best degrees you can get these days. Tons of jobs out there. There are more MEs here per capita than any other place I have seen.. except back at school.
In for bumper pics, love addicted's stuff.
Also, really like the sway bar disconnects. How much did you get them for?
Edit: Really jealous of you living in highlands ranch. My sister lives there and its amazing. Hoping to move to CO in the next year or two.

Woah and I just noticed you are moving to Fort Collins and attending CSU! Congrats! I live in the area and work in Fort Collins. Its awesome up here.

Thanks! I've always loved my engineering classes (went to a STEM school), and so I'm hoping that I will enjoy these next classes as much as I did the old ones!

Got the sway bars for right around $200 from [MENTION=98153]MStudt[/MENTION]. They're a bit pricey, but they're super beefy and extremely helpful.
Definitely move to CO! It's such a cool place and there's always something new to do or see!

I managed to get it on Saturday morning, about 30 minutes before I met up with [MENTION=91423]Asaspades93[/MENTION], [MENTION=106741]bambi_runner6[/MENTION], [MENTION=99762]colorado4runnin[/MENTION], and others for a trail run!
Kinda a group pic? We never really stopped to take a good one, but this shows who was there: 5 3rd gens!
We ran Slaughterhouse Gultch... what a mess. With all of the rain we have gotten recently, the trail became much more difficult than anyone could imagine. In the above picture you can see how far sunk in my tire is, it was suuuper soft. The list of broken stuff just goes on and on.. LBJs, door panels, fenders, etc.
The bumper did well though, as I was able to use it for a few recoveries, like the following picture shows:
I'm really happy with how it's starting to look. The bumper makes it sooo much better... Next up, sliders!
