Desert Does It Underseat Air

Has anyone installed the DDI underseat Air Compressor mount. I have a Viair that I had planned for under the hood, passenger side. I saw this mentioned somewhere, I like the idea of a clean dry spot, but it seems HOT.
I am looking for real world experiences, Thanks Y'all

I don't have this mount but you're right compressors get HOT under actual use. I have VIAIR compressors on my car with air suspension and just to fill up the tank they get crazy hot. I use an ARB twin for tires and it also gets hot and has built in fans. I would personally not put it under the seat with no ventilation. The same reason why its recommended car amps not be mounted under a seat.

Can't speak to the Viair, but I have the ARB single and it's fine, generally speaking the air temp inside your cabin is going to be around the normal operating temps for this, warmer than outside in the winter and cooler than the outside in the summer, definitely cooler than an engine bay. I have not noticed any increased heat in the cabin after running it.

I have had dual viair 400s mounted under hood for like 8-9 years and use them all the time, never changed the air filter, still work perfectly. Pretty sure they get hot enough to melt carpet and why would you want to listen to it inside?
