If there is proof of coverage...1800MYLEMON may be your best bet. Worked for me.

Try calling Toyota corp? They are generally pretty helpful and explain things on what you need to do. Usually push dealers.

This is how it starts, this is mine when it was basically brand new

all the pink is iron and impurities in the paint

So let me see if I understand this correctly. You can get rust on the vehicle that eats the paint away and as long as it's not through the metal warranty will tell you to eff off?

Is that how this works?

New issue to me. Don't know what I'd do except maybe try to find a national rep or something and don't be afraid to be pushy (different from rude, mind you), often if you're pushy they'll just give in and fix it.
