Detailing Question

I was wondering what product y'all have found to work best to clean the carpet (I guess thats what it would be called), for those that don't have leather, on the side of the doors? I tried using Scotch Gaurd, and it doesn't do a very good job on these sections.

Dawn dish soap! I mix in a hot bucket of water and scrub the floors with a course brush and followup with a clean rag in the soap. The last time I detailed I used simple green diluted and sprayed all my carpets/ seats/ door carpet and scrubbed away looked brand new when done think ill stick with that from now on! Try it out

For the doors I also have used Dawn dish washing soap with a SOFT bristle brush with great results! It got off all the grime a dirt from careless mechanics touching the door and left the material looking like new.
Dilute the dish washing soap (I prefer dawn) with warm water, you need very little soap.
And then rinse the material by blotting with a damp cloth.

If your carpets are really nasty, the best thing to do is take them out and pressure / steam wash them.

For spot cleaning, use an aerosol foaming window cleaner such as Invisible Glass. It's gotten stuff up for me that other carpet cleaners wouldn't touch.

Armrest part? or the other fabric part on the door?

If its the armrest just pop it out and clean it that way, I am not sure if the other part will pop out without the door panel coming off.

I would get some carpet cleaner or degreaser and mix it in a bucket of water. just get a sponge and drench the piece and try to rub out most of the stains with your fingers, after move to using a bristle brush. I wouldn't get a really hard bristle because you could damage the treading of the fabric.

Use a towel to rub out a majority of the water, the towel shouldn't get dirty. air dry

I'd recommend Zep pro carpet cleaner. You can pick it up at any Lowes or Home Depot. Best cleaner I've used on carpet/fabric so far.
